Found out today that my boyfriend’s younger brother may have leukemia. It could be something completely different, but we have to wait a few days to find out for sure. BF’s a total mess (he’s a classic case of protective and secretly emotional older bro). It’s a pretty hard shock, cause the kid is a 20 year old black-belt badass who can bench, like, a ton. This basically came out of nowhere, but so it goes.

I’m pretty optimistic since treatment has come a loooong way, but he would probably have to take a semester off of school and he is not one for sitting around and twiddling his thumbs. He’s got tests to ace, class averages to sit on top of, and pre-reqs to demolish.

I’m not supposed to see him for a while as a precaution cause I’ve run the gamut of flu/colds lately, and he’s family to me so… gonna be a weird couple of weeks.

Gives me an excuse to spoil him, though.
